With none of the new boho west line (***gasp!!!***), I needed to create a bright, fun western-looking gift wrap that can be easily duplicated for three preteen helpers of mine from our VBS. After some trial and error (oops! I was supposed to score that line, not cut it!!!), I finally came up with this! The yellow background was decorated with the paisley stamp then set aside. (That was the leftovers from the first "oops!" project. I liked the touch it added.) For the main front, the flower stamp was colored with markers and stamped 4 times, "Thank You" was inked and stamped, and then the flower head was colored one more time, stamped off twice, and finally was stamped over the greeting. The edges were sponged in blue, then it still looked a little boring, so I sponged/wiped the front a bit with the blue to add a bit of distressing and color. Bag found in the gift area of Target; the paper clip with blue ribbon was used to hold the bag topper onto the gift and add a little extra fun!
The girls loved the gifts! Inside, there were some little goodies (including a stamp!) that carried over the western theme and the colors that I used for the package. I love when things coordinate so well!!!
