This is 4.25” square card.
The image was sent to me by DawnL after I seen her use it and commented on how it looked so close to the house I grew up in. On the darkest part of the house on the upstairs level would have been my bedroom and we had the big old maples in the yard at about the same location as the photo shows. The porch roof isnÂ’t flat like our old house was.
-I used what I call watercolor pencils by Gallery for coloring. They blend so nice with just a touch of water on regular cardstock but IÂ’m limited in colors and Prismas are on my want list. -After coloring and ink distressing the image panel, I used three coats of Ultra Thick embossing powder and that really brightens up the color.
-The Cuttlebug corner die cut has the tulip cut off and it and leaf are attached to the panel with a small amount of Diamond Glaze, then I reheated the embossing powder and pressed down on the embellishments and it now holds them in place.
-I also used DG on each corner to hold down the panel and it keeps it from trying to curl. Diamond Glaze is also known as Crystal Effects from Stampin Up.
-The background panel is stamped with words from a retired CHF set then ink and tool distressed.
