Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use It Challenge: Better Sharpen UP! We were to use Pencil Crayons, Prisma Colors, or SU!'s Pure Color Pencils.
I used SU!'s Pure Color pencils! I stamped the image three times in BBlack onto Whisper White.
Next, I used my RED Pure Color Pencil and outlined the flowers (I added an extra!). Next, I colored the inside with the PINK. I dipped a Blending stump into Ordorless mineral spirits and started in the middle slowly moving the stump in a circle until the area "blended.
Next, I outlined the leaves on the SECOND image in Green Pure Color pencil and shaded the inside with the Light Green. I cleaned the stump and blended in the area. Next, I outlined the stems in the FIRST vase in Green. Then, I outlined the vase in the DARK BLUE Pure Color pencil and added Light Blue to the inside. I CAREFULLY shaded with the blending stump. ( I didn't want GREEN in the BLUE!)
I cut out the pieces and layered them. The flowers have the swirl cut out and layered with dimensionals.
The background is stamped with On the Spot. The bottom background is stamped with Sanded...
I'm sending this to school with Markie tomorrow for his teacher. She has just done "WONDERS" with him so far!
