Made for LSC128: Making something that reminds you of the Summer Season.
My parents have a garden, all different berries, and a *small* orchard in their backyard...Summer reminds me of God's bountiful blessing of food growing in gardens...and all the work that comes along with that! LOL!
...my 3yr old DD has LOVED picking berries & getting stuff out of G'pa & G'ma's garden...so this is made in remembrance of that...and I'm sending it to a special friend today, who has a garden of her own.
The raspberries are a mixture of colors: Rose Red, Ruby Red, and a little Bravo Burgandy. So I mimicked that in the base cs. Started out with Rose Red, then Linen bg stamped lightly, and sponged with Ruby Red & Bravo Burgandy.
Hope you like it - TFL!

Great job of the distressing on your layers and I really like the hemp twined around your ribbon. This sunripened image is one of my favourite and you have done a lovely job of shading.

This is a lovely card!!! And a lovely story to go with it! I grew up on a small farm with several gardens so I feel what you are saying! Great job . . . your friend will treasure it I'm sure. tfs
