Well, here we are at the end of summer and the final wedding (but first engagement?) has arrived. Again, the card is based on the wedding invitation - I embossed the flowers in gold and silver on watercolour paper, painted them in with ink refills, and attempted to blend the colours where the petals overlap. I then masked the blossoms off and stamped in the background flowers. I blended Stampin pastels over the background to unify it with the borders. Then I used my corner slot punch and exacto knife to cut slots for the inkjet transparency scripture verse to go (I matched the ink to the Chocolate Chip). On the inside, I used ribbon to hold the money gift and underneath there is another blossom with the two colours. Sorry for the novel...this is for a very lovely young woman and I am so excited for her!
P.S This is my first acetate card - it was tons of fun!
