this card was for a challenge among friends, for which we were supplied with the dotted swiss paper, winter tile, small white snowflake/brad, and dotted ribbon which we were required to use. everything else was left to our own discretion.
the bg panel is fine lace stamped and embossed with white. i also embossed the sentiment on sage cs, then cut along the bottom edge, following the line of the script. the small provided die cut snowflake was cut in half, glued along the edges of the dotted swiss panel and painted with stickles. the large snowflake is embossed in white on white cs, cut out and decorated with stickles. the 'winter' tile had a black edge and black lettering, which i just didn't think looked right on this card, so i covered the black edge with a thin strip of leftover fine lace bg cs (i know, i'm crazy), and added a little stickles to the edge and to highlight the lettering which i first covered with white paint.
the dotted ribbon is layered on a wide loop edged satin and sheer ribbon from offray. i'm sorry, but i don't know the source of the dotted.
the stickles irl is mulitcolored iridescent that leans a little more to the green side. for some reason, all the photos pick up only the pink.
sorry for the length of the directions, but i know some like to hear all the details. :) thanks for looking!
