This card is for the special challenges I do every week with a group of friends here at SCS. Our good friend, Frances, (aka StampOwl), has never seen snow. Therefore, we were sent a package of items to use to make a snowflake card for Frances. The items we had to use in our card are:
Dotted swiss paper
White winter tile
Snowflake with white brad
Polkadotted ribbon
For my snowflake image, I did emboss resist. After I embossed my snowflakes, I sponged several shades of blue over that. I love how dazzling diamonds make snowflakes sparkle and used that as well. I used a small piece of snowflake dp behind the main image panel. The dark color really is night of navy (not black) but in order to have the dazzling diamonds show somewhat (they're so sparkly IRL!), I had to set my camera at a lower setting.
I hope you like this card, Frances. It's coming your way!
