The card design itself was CASEd from a card on Lauraly's blog Just Give me Stamps, which can be found at http://justgivemestamps.typepad.com/...-for-jare.html.
Obviously I made some changes, but her card was the starting point.
A question for you: As an afterthought I put the little boots embellishment there on the bottom. Should it stay, or do you think it's lame?

I *love* the boots! I want a pair just like them!
...Perhaps they are not stars in the sky...But rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy... ...My life is like a stroll on the beach...As near to the edge as I can go...Thoreau...
...The difference between *life* and *living*...When you have someone close, someone special, a *Best Friend*, it's *Living*...When you lose her...it's just *Life*...
Thanks! The boots are from K & Co. I had grabbed a bunch of the little 3-piece sets that were in the Michael's $1 bin last year and never found a use for this set until now. The other two pieces are a 10-gallon hat and a star, I think.

I like the boots and they certainly seem to fill in that space but they do not coordinate with your color scheme in the picture. I am totally aware that our pictures often do not do our art work justice so that might be all it is. I do like them for sure!!

No, no, no KEEP the boots! They aren't lame at all, but are the first thing I noticed before I read your commentary and thought: well isn't that cute! Also love the "lassoo"--very cool. The tilted matting for the main image gives a great sense of movement, too.
