One of the cards in an all-occasion boxful I sent my mother. Image shows two cards: on the right is the front of the card and on the left the card is open.
The central front image is 3-layer (hard to see). The edges of the outer vanilla layer were dipped in versamark then embossed with gold EP. Trickly to get the versamark only on the edge of the cardstock. Matches the gold in the ribbon. Glue dots hold the ribbon on.
Pretty, simple, and elegant, IMHO.
