Here is one of the projects I worked on today. I was really excited to use my new stuff-I got an order on Wednesday that had my pre-order from the holiday mini and some other goodies from the new catty. I finally broke it all open today and made this card using the Autumn Harvest set. I LOOOOVE this set! I just love watercoloring, I love fall-it's my favorite season, and I love that the stamps were die cut so I just had to pop, stick and stamp! :-) I'm not 100% sold on this card...I played with it for about 1/2 hr. trying to figure out if I liked it or not, but I decided it was at least worth posting for some honest SCS feedback. I used my CM cutting system to cut and layer my stamped image, some hodgepodge hardware and ribbon for accessorizing, and the new textured cs for my main layer. I just might be all textured all the time now-this stuff is great! :-) Anyway, TFL and feel free to leave me some feedback!

I really like this card! Great job with the watercoloring! I like the colors, texture, hodgepodge, and two ribbons a lot!

You did a fine job on this card. How did you get the leaves on the pumpkins to pop out so much?

Mericat,
I stamped and watercolored the leaves on Watercolor paper. It has a little more "thickness" to it, so it's easy to kind of mold them to have more dimension. The ones on the little pumpkin are layered, so I think that's what makes them pop. The one on the big pumpkin is mounted on a Stampin' Dimensional...I might have forgotten to mention that in my post.
