I wanted a wedding card that was simple but elegant, which turned out to be much harder than it sounds! My daughter (Karen Stamps!) gave me this general idea and I adapted it using the stamps and supplies that I had. I stamped French Flair on Vanilla and embossed it in white, matted that onto shiny gold cs, tied the ribbon around, then onto whisper white. A narrow scrap trimmed from the gold mat is adhered inside the card next to a gold-embossed Irish blessing, and a tiny flourish (next photo). The outside sentiment is also embossed and matted in gold and raised with dimensionals.
The hardest part was photographing the card without getting reflections of my clothes, hands or camera in the gold frame!
