I made this for my cousin's wedding gift. She & her husband had a western themed wedding. They will be living in the country (in our late great grandpa's old house) and they have horses. They both loved this gift.
I waited until the last possible moment to make this name frame. I've had the frame for a couple months, but start making this the night before I was leaving town. I didn't have enough of the leather looking pattern paper (and it was 11:00 at night), so I used a piece of creamy caramel paper for filler paper. I stamped on it and sponged it, then sewed it onto the leather looking pattern paper. I like how it turned out.
I used vellum paper and my computer & printer to make their first names and the wedding date.
The frame is from Michael's, it was on clearance for $7.00. Since it was big, I cut an oval mat so they can add a photo.
