This was a fun card! However, I was a bit of a dork and did not center my string on the spinner circle, so when it spins around it is not perfectly centered in the circle cut out. It still spins though, so for not paying attention it could have been a lot worse. So word to those out there that may have dork moments, center your string.
I also used the prisma pencils and baby oil technique on this (you can also use Gasmol or mineral spirits). I was losing interest in my sets that had to be colored in because I did not like the way other medias were working for me (watercolor pencils, chalk, markers). This is the best technique I have found! The control is fabulous, you can make the colors a mute or rich as you like. The baby oil adds a slippery coating to the paper that allows you to keep adding more color and blending as you go.
I am just using plain old white card stack (nothing fancy, not even sure of the brand) and it does not break down at all. If you have not tried this technique, do! You will be so happy with it. You can get little travel size bottles of baby oil in the beauty travel bins at Targets and WalMarts.
The only problem I had is my Brown Stazon was smearing, I did not have this problem with the Black Stazon. Could be that my Brown is bad. Any one else have this problem with the Timber Brown Stazon?

I love the way this looks!! I am new to all this and will have to check on the prisma/baby oil technique. I agree i am not always happy with pencils, chalks, etc. Thanks so much for sharing and for the hint on centering the string on the spinning part. I would have never thought of that ahead on time.

Beautiful card! And I agree with you on coloring. I have it all: copics, su markers, watercolor crayons, chalk, etc, and I still prefer to just color with my primacolored pencils!
