Here's my take on the featured stamper challenge. I chose this card of Jen's to case: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers and changed it a bit. Made my main image larger, moved the saying to the main panel, changed the colors used, no ribbon or brads. Stamped the teacher and books in stazon black, then colored with markers. The blackboard is stamped fluid chalk charcoal. Sponged CTMH colonial white around for the walls, then sponged ballet blue over that so the blue would be lighter. Then stamped the bottom border in ballet blue, apples are in real red on the strip. Punched out the books and layerd then used dimensionals to pop up. Used a white signo gel pen to write on the "chalk board" and my handwriting on chalk boards still stinks just like in school. LOL Oh well. Inside I made my own saying using a word processor and clear labels and was inspired by a Staples commercial from a couple of years back. It says: It's the most wonderful time of the year.... Hi Sue! waving My kiddos start back tommorrow. Yippee Skippee!!!

Bonnie,
This is cute, but it is NOT the most wonderful time of the year. That would be June something or other!! LOL
My kids go back the 22nd and I go back the 28th. Thanks for the reminder Bonnie!

How cute....that is one way of not letting your students know you are very frustrated with their behavior....No head, no emotions showing! Adorable card!
