We got to pick from rugs to play the Inspiration challenge; I played off the blocked rug and the borders on another plus colors and flowers.

I cut the 1” squares with a cuttlebug die cut; punch would be much faster. The panel was created using a one sided sticky paper (example: like sticker paper). Each square but beige was stamped and heat embossed with clear powder, I also stamped and embossed the base layer then they all got ink distressed along with the flowers and sentiment. It’s a rug so it had to look it’s been walked on.

the embossed patterns on the squares is fabulous......it is subtle but brings a warm, richness, and texture to the squares, adding dimension.............and those flowers are just the cutest
