It was really difficult to get a scan of this card. The buttons raise the right side of the card off of the glass, making that side scan really dark.
I put Crosshatch and Linen on the So Saffron card, because I wanted to carry the theme of dark lines onto that layer. It doesn't show much, but I know it's there :-)
I overstamped the Basic Grey dp with French Flair and flowers from the Memory set. The buttons are SU clear buttons, colored with Ranger Alcohol inks to match the Basic Grey dp. I lined up the black hemp with the black lines on the dp to accent them. I like the way it turned out.

This is beautiful! Even though you don't see much of the base layer, the linen and crosshatch stamped on it really make it seem like it was made to go with the Basic Grey. I'm usually afraid to ruin precious designer paper by stamping on it, but in this case you made it even more attractive.
