Here is my page for Teresa's "Gone with the wind" challenge.
The title is "Sometimes I wish I could stop time"
I made my own scalloped border and cut the swirls from a piece of patterned paper.
Journaling is behind the photo and pulls out to read: Sometimes I wish I could stop time and keep you little, keep you with me, keep you safe. Becoming a mother has made me understand my own motherÂ’s worries about me. I worry about the future and what this world will be like for you when you are a teenager and then when you are grown and away from me. The world is so big and can be such a scary place. You donÂ’t yet know about all the bad things out there. You still love to be with me and only me. Sometimes I wish I could keep it this wayÂ…but time moves forward and I want you to experience the good things in life too. I want you to grow, I want you to learn, I want you to find out what makes you happy and follow your heart. I want you to figure out how you can make a difference. I hope that someday you will have children of your own and understand the absolute joy that comes with making them giggle. I want you to experience love and what it feels like to be loved. Above everything else I want you to be happy. I hope that someday you will look back at all these photos and understand just how loved and special you are to me. I love you. Love mom

Oh, man... where's the kleenex? That was beautiful and so touching. And it really reminded me how blessed I am with my own boys. Beautiful page layout and picture, too.
