Today Jen challenged us to create a word background with a word stamp, no DP or dry EP. I got to practice using my Stamp-ama-jig, which proved to be very helpful!
I chose "Mon Ami" from the SU Flowers for a Friend set. I stamped the sentiment with River Rock on Ivory Natural CS. After about 6 practice sheets I finally got the results I was after. I stamped over the words with a leaf twig stamp which was stamped off twice before usage. The rest of the recipe is just layers which are mounted with dimensionals, toped off with a stick pin and perky bow. The card is for my "walkin' buddy" for her birthday next week.
Thanx for looking!

This is beautiful! Love the soft colors (river rock is gonna be a new favorite of mine!) and the fleur de lis and vine metal accents....I've always loved stick pins and hat pins, etc.
