I have a friend who's a teen resource librarian - so she sits on desk a LOT - like 5-7 hours out of an 8 hour day. So I figured she needed a desk survival kit.
I found this tiny lunchbox at my LSS (it's too small for a regular size card to fit in) and found this fabulous DP by Heidi Grace to cover it. The paper is double-sided, so the opposite side of the box has the opposite side of the paper. The paper decorating the corner is a light green shimmer paper - this paper also runs around the thin sides.
I had some Basic Grey chipboard that I wanted to use to highlight the first letters of "Elizabeth's Desk Survival Kit." I couldn't arrange the letters on one side to make it work, but I could spell DESK. They were smushed into Classic stamp pads in Certainly Celery, Rose Red, and Sage Shadow and left to dry. When dry, I used a Quickie glue pen and some DD glitter to highlight them. They're attached with Tacky Tape. I then added ribbons to the monkey (which is part of the gift) and to the handle.
I had a LOT of fun doing this.
