This fits three challenges; use only clear stamps, one layer card and ways to use wax in your card creation.
*I laughed when I read this weekÂ’s WT because I was just getting ready to dry emboss my checkerboard frame and I always rub wax paper or a candle over the card surface so the stylus will glide easier and it really helps. I wait until the cardstock gets heated up a bit from the light to help melt the wax but it doesnÂ’t show on the card; not that melted!
*I punched a square in the card measuring first so itÂ’s even from both edges then dry embossed around it.
*Before stamping the flowers I lay punched circles about the size of the image on the card so I can arrange for image placement, then move one and stamp and continue until finished. IÂ’m not good at random stamping and this really helps.
*The hearts and ladybug wings are ink distress in tea dye or white ink. The hearts are strung on to each with a needle and thread and sewn to the ribbon near the knot.
