bWAAHAAHAA. My first attemt at a one layer card was at least an attempt. However, I got a little help from an expert, and I'd like to display my second attempt!
In honor of JHRR's one card DTGD challenge here's my recipe: I stamped the sunflower image in Palette Hybrid Noir Black and set it with clear emboss. I colored it in with SU Chalks, and added a sentiment and simple gingham ribbon.
Thank you expert. I am awed with the results!

WOW! This draws the eye in nicely to the sunflower and allows it to take center-stage presence! I like how the gingham is set a little further from the gutter crease, which creates a nice triangle of balance between the sunflower, the sentiment and the gingham bow! This is a wonderful variation!
