IÂ’m playing with the new Cuttlebug folder, first time to do a card with the hearts since I bought my own machine.
The dog has some glittered gel pen on the color and the heart is regular marker.
The tags was a great idea in the mind but didnÂ’t turn out quite like I had pictured but some little Keiki child will love it anyway! The tags are on heavy thread and strung through to the back and taped and I held them in position with tacky glue or adhesive dots.
The tiny hearts through out the card is from a punch and glued down using a straight pin for easy handling, a quilterÂ’s pin is best; itÂ’s a bit longer than the normal. Touch the pin to glue then pick up the heart with the glue.
The ticket punch look is done with a regular ½” circle punch; mark your spot on the card both ways from the corner, line up the punch.
Large tags are direct to paper in the white ink or stamped multiple times with the textured image.
The tiny sentiments – baby – cakes and snookums are actually nick names I called out Westie and of course we LOVE (d) him! He’s in doggie heaven now.
