These are some pins made from the directions given by Kelly Purkey...The only thing I did differently was try to incorporate more SU! supplies, such as Crystal Effects instead of an acrylic sealant and I used some liquid applique tinted with re-inkers to embellish the boa on one, while using Fancy Fibers on the other.

The first time I saw this lady I knew she needed to be made into a pin and you have done a fantastic job of it!! I love the embellishments and curve of the pins. TFS

The crystal effects only really takes about 10 minutes to dry...still a "little" tacky, so for the best results, maybe 20 minutes....but I did one side at a time and after 10 minutes did the back.
You want to stamp three copies of the image. For the lady in pink and black I used Basic Black CS for the back layer and the lady in purple, I used lovely lilac. The other layers (2 more for each pin) you want to just stamp on White CS. Use Tacky Glue (I've found that any Slow drying glue actually works...even Elmers), but I prefer Alene's Tacky Glue in the brown bottle, and after coloring in at least the top layer (don't really need to color the bottom layers, but you do want to run a marker along the edges, so that the edge of the pin is a uniform color...I suggest black or the same color you use as your back layer), spread a thin layer of tacky glue on the back layer, then adhere the top layer. You really need to cut the image pretty exactly to get a nice pin. Then another layer of tacky glue and the top layer. once the three layers are together, you can bend and shape the pin as you wish....when it dries, it will stay in that bent shape. After that's done, I just covered with crystal effects, using a small paintbrush. While the CE was still wet, I applied the embellishments (Wire, flower, fibers, diamond ring) and they dried and adhered well with the CE. Then I used the CE on the back and adhered the pin back the same way. I tried pulling off the diamond ring embellishment and couldn't. CE holds GREAT, and another way to promote that product.
