can you explain how to do heated pearls?? do you mix pearl ex and glue? if so, at what ratio? do you heat with a heat tool? please explain, I want to play!!!

Heated pearls is pretty easy. You use glossy cardstock and smear it with a layer of glue, like Elmer's. Then put some Pearl Ex on it with your stipple brush and smoosh it around -- that's the technical term ;) Heat with heat gun until it's all bubbly. I'm not sure what the ratio would be. Just add a little at a time so you don't waste it, I guess.
I used a brad in the center of my bow.
