This didn't come out exactly as I had planned, but it is finished, and that is an accomplishment for me. This is for my cousin who got married recently to a fellow in the Navy. He has been stationed in San Diego (she is in NC) and she is now leaving to go join him. The Navy is packing her things (didn't know they did that!) so I immediately thought of this when I first saw Boatloads of Love. I also thought it would be cool to do a card with boats for the Navy. My wonderful SU demo (jpmayo) kindly stamped some images for me, because we didn't know if the set would be here on time if I ordered it. Anyway, I colored the image with Prismacolors and Gamsol. I wanted a red, white and blue theme so it would be patriotic. The water and the sky were done with chalks. The red panel is stamped with Crosshatch (doubt you can see it). The blue panel is stamped with a stars and dots stamp from an unknown company (think I got it for $1 at ACMoore). I went over some of the stars and dots with my Sakura quickie glue pen and blue glitter from Sparklensprinkle.com. The sentiment on the tag is Karen Foster Snap Stamps and the star brad is from Target. This is a long card that fits in a business envelope. Thanks for looking!
