Do you ever make a card and feel like something is missing, but if you add one more thing it's overboard? I sure do on this card!
I was cleaning my scraproom yesterday and came across a really pretty embroidered dish towel from my mom. That's where I got the inspiration for the main details on this card. The flowers have the little dotted stamp inside the flower on white, and then are backed in marigold. I just peeled up the white layer to add dimension and show the yellow underneath. Note to Self: punch center circle first before punching itsy bitsy teeny weeny nearly impossible to punch flower center later flowers out of the take three punch :o
The corners I made by using my square scallop punch, and punching out a corner of cardstock.
I was feeling really done with this card, but the green DP need some punch, but I was not feeling "punchy" enough to pierce the stitching, so I just used the Papertreyink Faux ribbon stitched stamp to make it look like I stitched. Sadly white craft doesn't cut the mustard on this DP so I had to go back over it in white gel.
I still feel like it needs ribbon or something, but maybe I need to ... Step Away From the Card!
Anyway, I do love the little center heart stamp from Papertrey Borders and Corners hearts. Neat Neat good times!

Your design is very creative and sweet. Makes me want to order that Papertreyink stamp set ... I love what you did with the heart stamp. Great work!
