Well, as always, the scanner doesn't do it justice. I mitred the corners in the purple bling bazzil, and put small heart brads in each of the corners as well. House mouse is such a fiddley image to colour - and then I put crystal laquer over the chocolates, the mice's faces, and a few other places. I put the mitred corners up on pop dots. This is a picture ( in case you can't tell ) of one big bad house mouse who has bitten into all of the chocolates - and the left them for the others. The bad house mouse is hiding in the corner.
Why is this an anniversary card for my hubby of 24 years? Well, it's something I might do , for one thing, and my husband will know that. But also, in marriage, the secret is tolerance, and well, sometimes one person - either the husband or the wife - will get the better side of the deal while one person is a little selfish. And in marriage that alternates - but over all we both got a good deal I think.... and luckily we both have a sense of humour and tolerance.... So that's my story of 24 years of marriage - and two kidz...
Hope you like it!

This is adorable. I love those darling mice. All the holes in the chololates remind me of our boxes of Russell Stovers when we were kids and trying to figure out what was inside each piece.

I think it is adorable. How is mice are so cute in a cartoony sort of form, but not when they are really in your house? LOL! Hope you got that chocolate after dinner! You can never go wrong with choco.! My dh grandmother used to say, " Eat desert first. What if you choke during your meal!" Gotta say, she had a point! LOL ---Great card!
