I use this shelving unit along with an armoire, one shelf of those wire cube shelves from Target, an iris cart, and some cardboard drawers to organise my stamping and scrapping supplies. My chair is to the immediate left of this shelf, so all my regularly-used items are on the left and very easily accessible.
Topmost shelf: empty boxes I want to save, and some Silk boxes that I've tossed supplies and paper that needs to be organised at a later date.
Shelf 2: on the left, Cuttlebug A2 embossing folders are in the white plastic IKEA container; 2x2 dies and embossing folders in the blue little box under the A2 folders box; CB alphas are in the stripey red boxes labeled with the alpha. Blue Sterlite container holds foam stamps. Pink and brown photo box holds my card stash, green and brown box holds reinkers, extra sponges, etc. Sandwich containers hold embossing powders labeled with colour and company. White flat box holds extra sponge paintbrushes.
Shelf 3: Red box holds ink pads. Umbrella and pink boxes hold my UM stamps. Sandwich containers hold even more embossing powders. If there is ever a world shortage of EP, I am stocked for life!
Shelf 4: 9" Fiskars triple track personal trimmer, wavy crimper, and Fiskars sunburst border punch. Clear case from office supply section holds an assortment of brads, eyelets, etc. Green Sterlite flip lid box holds cat's eyes inkpads, ink spots, and a petal point pad. The box with the colourful circles is a cardmaking kit from Michaels. Under that box is my white cardstock. Next to that are two bookends corralling my stamp index binder, catalogues and magazines, and a photo album left over from a failed previous attempt to organise my UM stamps. At the end, again with the embossing powder.
Shelf 5: blue basket holds cards I've been blessed with by other stampers. Four-drawer unit used to hold my single wood-mounted stamps, but now holds brads (top drawer), eyelets and Crop a Dile (second drawer), and smaller punches (bottom two drawers). Three drawer unit holds colouring supplies like Pebbles chalks, Pebbles stencils, stipple brushes, and Perfect Pearls (top drawer), acrylic stamping handles (second drawer), and adhesive (bottom drawer, and it is FULL).
Thanks for looking! Good luck organising your stamping space!
