I found this little coal miner's lunchpail (5" wide x 2-1/2" deep x 4-1/2" tall) to decorate for my new grandson. After spending about 3 hours cutting all the paper pieces (from a jumbo paper book from JoAnn's) my daugther, Susan, ran it thru her Xylon sticky paper machine. It was a breeze to put it on the lunch box then. I ran ribbon thru my small Xylon sticker maker and adhered them to the borders. I kept the colors in celery, light blue, and light yellow. All of the embellishments were from Hobby Lobby. Inside are individual cards that have tabs on them (made with my new round tab punch) and the cards have the announcement, bath time, bed time, toys, wheels (various strollers), first steps, first tooth, etc. I also put in some cards with a calender stamp from A Muse and put lines on it so my daughter could journal what happens at the doctor appt, play date, etc. There are also some blank cards in there for her to put her "wahtevers" on. I can't wait to give it to her this Wednesday night at a Stampin Up Get-together! Thank you for looking.

How did you get the paper on top around the handle? I have a dome-top box that I want to alter and I can't figure out how to get it all in one piece w/out detaching the handle.
