I made this card just after my 5th child finished K. They sent home papers in a file folder. I loved the brown colour of the folder so I made the base of the card with it and th background flower. I love to use reclaimed materials. I used the wet paper watercoloring to make the background using RR blue and eggplant and the flowers from delight in life. When it was dry I stamped my main flower from some of the wet watercoloured paper. I accented it with mulberry paper and some blue wire. I should have glued the mulberry paper down a bit better. I used this card as a thank you card for my sons teacher...so the circle is complete

What a beautiful card!!! Love the wet watercolor paper and the mulberry paper you used. Love the flower cut out of the Watercolored paper, too. What a neat idea to use the folder from one child's K-folder for another child's teacher. I hope you told her about it!!!
