Let me start by saying--OMG--what a wonderful gallery Cindy has!
OK-So here's MY story-
1.I sat down at 7:30pm to check out the featured stamper and figured I had oodles of time to get my card done. I couldn't even get past Cindy's pic of her DOTS room!!
2.I was having a hard time choosing a card to case when I recalled seeing some hershey's minis tucked in the back corner of my desk, so I said to myself~self, why don't you case this one~WT113 - Chocolate Pocket by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
3.So, that's what I set out to do(time now is 9:15pm)
4.I just got my Cuttlebug last week and couldn't wait to use it-I noticed that Cindy had put a link to Alli"s blog for instructions on how to emboss a cuttlebugged panel( i might as well be honest here and confess-I did not go to Alli's blog-just winged it and did what I thought would work
5.Working away and working away, noticing the time getting later and later. I finish attaching all the pieces and realizing that I had 3 minis, decide to put 2 in the pouch and reward myself w/the 3rd. So I frantically open that chocolate and cram in my mouth without even looking at it...In case you can't see it in the pic, there are tine snowflakes on the outside of the wrappers-yep-leftovers from Christmas-guess what? NOT GOOD!! I had to spit my piece out- i mean it was completely unedable-So, unless i REALLY dislike the person I decide to give this card to, I will have to replace those chocolates, but I left them for the pic to get the full effect!
And I am sticking to it!
AS for my case, I kept Cindy's layout used some different punches and stamp, added a pop can tab with my ribbon, and chose a different color scheme.
TFL!

What a good job you did on winging it! Your background looks perfect. I got such a kick out of your play by play. While you were uploading this last night, I was snoozing! Your card is great and to be honest my first thought was how on earth did those three pieces of chocolate survive in her desk all that time...in mine they would have been gone! Like in a day! Thanks so much for the kind comments and for spending time in my gallery! I love your card, it's wonderful and am honored you chose to participate! Christmas will be here in a jiffy, just make sure you pick up some green ones!
