I love the way she uses pattern paper so freely. I could have used some ribbon on my sample but didn't think of it till I had the roses glued down. Oh well... I used saran wrap to stipple Basic Gray ink on the gray cs for a different texture. Watercolored the rose using Cranberry Crisp ink and True Thyme. Think I'm going to like using that new gray a lot! Your's is so beautiful with the color....You did a wonderful job and I just love the technique you used for the background. Your coloring is just perfect with that little strip of SU paper.
