When I saw this week's Stylus challenge, I had to go on a bit of a treasure hunt in my craft room to find one. Since getting my cuttlebug, I haven't done any 'old-fashioned' dry embossing. I forgot how many fun embossing templates I have in my collection.
This one is Westminister Circle Window. I dry embossed it on Lasting Impressions Pink Lemonade paper from the Sidewalk Cafe Collection (Lasting Impressions paper allows the light through for easier embossing). Then I turned the paper over and place the template back over the embossed image. I sprayed the paper with several light mists of Memories Mists in Strawberry Diquiri.
The image was matted on brown cardstock and then on a scrap of DP and the coordinating fibers were added. I decided on a peaceful sentiment ... this isn't your normal holiday card, but I have a perfect recipient in mind.
