Is this not the cutest face you have ever seen??!! This darling cow face is from a My Favorite Things http://www.mftstamps.com/ set and is called Farm Friendly. The cow head actually comes in a framed stamp with flowers around it. I painted the head and then cut it out of it's frame to put into a scene. I sketched the cows body and added a few spots to match the head. On a separate piece of watercolor paper I sketched out the fence, painted it with reinkers and cut it out with my craft knife. I had to have a way to cover up the place where I put the two pieces of cow together. I sponged the ground area with celery and painted the trees in the bg with creamy caramel and basic brown. I used wasabi green to add leaves and grassy texture to the scene. I used banana and soft sky for the sky. I will have to do another scene and do two or three cow heads in it to create a little herd. What fun this was to do. I wanted to use the wasabi, celery and banana on this as I had had so much fun on my card for the inpsiration challenge today using these colors.

You go to such lengths to make every scene look wonderful. This cow has such a beautiful sky and pasture to graze in, but where is the signature gingham ribbon??? :-)
