This is much prettier IRL. When I darken it the EE looks black, when I lighten it the main panel is washed out. I love EE, but it never scans well. Anyway . . .
Sarah (TXGrandmaX6) inspired me with her card here:
I pm'd her about her distressing techniques and she graciously wrote back with a wonderful lesson in distressing. Here is my attempt at Sarah-style distressing - definately a novice attempt.
Thanks Sarah, and TFL.

Oh, Janet, I am so impressed with your first attempt at full-fledged distressing! My first few attempts ended up in the trash they were so bad! Yours is wonderful!!!! You definately deserve an A+. The scanner is not allowing all of the details to be seen clearly but I know IRL there is a lot to see. Super results from a great student!

Such a beautiful card! The colors are vintage elegant, and look naturally time-worn.
My Bible study class gave me a Demdaco/Willow Tree figurine of a girl sitting with a book (which we of course interpret as her Bible) in her lap...I just LOVE it and your card reminds me of her in an in color, paper version. TFS!
