The Inspiration Challenge this week was a Christmas ornament with greens and blues in it. This sort of evolved in my head without a lot of fuss.
I scored the cardstock that became the tiles at 1/2" increments going both directions, then colored in the squares with markers in Green Galore, Gable Green, and Brilliant Blue. I then went down the "grout" lines with a white gel pen to emphasize them. I smooshed the whole paper in a Versamark pad, then covered it in ultra thick embossing powder and embossed. The coverage is spotty, but it looks cool.
The card is stamped in Green Galore with the square outline from Simply Shapes to emphasize the tile squares. The cake is from Sketch a Party, stamped in Gable Green, then outlined in Brilliant Blue. The sentiment arching over the cake is done in Green Galore.
This card makes #9 in my set of 12... I'm almost done!!!!
