The challenge is to make a card that involves favorite fall things or events. I love pumpkins and I also wanted to try creating the ones we seen so much of in the gallery last fall using the oval punches. I know Waxyo had one in her gallery.
The pumpkins are created with both sizes of Stampin Up oval punches. First I stamped the cardstock with weathered then punched the ovals. I ink distressed each oval and cut the middle two down in width before gluing them together. The stems are freehand cut and detailed with marker. The wire is cut about two inches long, wrapped around an artist brush then removed, pulled and twisted; itÂ’s held on with adhesive dots.
Each pumpkin took around six minutes to make.
As you can see I tool and ink distressed all the layers.
The tabs are from a circle punch and tool distressed.
I very faintly stamped leaves on the sentiment panel and would have stamped with linen but no timeÂ…the card took just shy of 45 to complete.

This is really cool, Roxie. I saw all those pumpkins before and never made one. I think you've talked me into trying. I love all the details you incorporated into your 45 minutes!
