Gingham french knots

I loved the card that JanTInk posted using this set and the liquid aplique. Unfortunately, I don't have any liquid aplique so I used the gingham to sew french knots onto the card to achieve a similar look using her great layout.

oh my good lord. how ambitious! I never got the hang of french knots when i used to cross stitch. These are lovely!

Absolutely beautiful! I love making french knots in crewel embroidery, but ribbon is fantasfic!!!
