This card was very difficult to photograph due to the placement of the pockets (when laid flat, the front pocket is on one side and the other two pockets are on the reverse)
I took a 12x12" sheet of two sided cardstock and scored it at six inches to fold it in half to make the pocket. Then I scored vertically at 4" and 8" to make a valley and mountain fold.
The front pocket was made by folding down the front into a triangle and attaching the front and back below the fold. The second pocket was made by punching an opening with the word window punch (punch the first word window off centered and then scoot the punch over the same hole and widen it by punching another 1/2 punch from the paper). After that was punched, the two pieces of folded cardstock were taped at the top. The final pocket was made by taping the two sides of the fold and punching a 1 1/2" half-circle from the top reveal the tag.
Each pocket was filled with a tag and embellishments were added that include punches, stickers, cuttlebug die cuts, a vintage button and even a tiny pearl. Fibers and stamping were added to each of the tags.
The large sentiment is called "She Who Believes in Herself" -- Trusting her instincts was the hardest thing she ever did. But she listened to the whisperings of her heart. She pushed forth with faith in her skills ... And faith in her knowledge that she could succeed. And she did! In the end, trusting her heart was the smartest thing she ever did.
The small sticker on the front says "strength and struggle travel together ~ spencer w kimball". The larger sticker on the back panel says "The world breaks everyone, and afterward many are strong at the broken places ~ ernest hemingway"
