This is a technique I learned recently where you tint a black and white photo with color. I realized that you could use this concept to stamp an image that looked like a black and white photo.
1. Stamp The Forest Chapel with Stone Grey StazOn ink on white glossy paper.
2. Color just a few parts of the image - I chose the flowers, the stream and the trees. You can color with many different tools such as markers or ink and a blender pen. I used Cut 'n Dry Nibs by Ranger because they have an ultra-fine tip. Allow all ink to dry.
*I used all Distress inks in the following colors:
-Broken China, Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Faded Jeans, Dusty Concord, Milled Lavendar and Mustard Seed
3. Starting from the edge of the image, sponge Old Paper and then Vintage Photo Distress Ink over the entire image in a circular motion beginning at the edges and working inward.
4. Sponge edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink to frame the photo.

This is incredible and to think I almost missed it. I did not see it when you first posted and I'm just thankful I took a look at your gallery. All of your Kinkeads are breathtaking and I have just received 5 of these stamps in the mail. I am so inspired by your work and hope I can just do justice to them. I will certainly take hints from you. Thanks so much. linda
