Julia S had taken a swirl, stamped it on paper and then used that as a template to put a pierced swirl on her card. I took it a step farther and stamped it on a transparency, then pierced through that for a more permanent template and because you can also see through it, placement is simplified.
The flower centers is my version of faux build a brads. I stamped the small flower on so saffron, punched it out with a 1/2" circle punch, layered it on a 5/8" punched black circle and topped it with a page pebble.
I used my sewing machine to stitch on the twill.
The scallop circle is popped up.

Awesome work on the pierced swirl - love the do-it-yourself build-a-brad idea. Great card...tfs
