i do not have any patriotic stamps, unfortunately, so i went for the folk art look. everything is done freehand, except i used a straight edge for the center red stripes. i sectioned the card into slightly wavy diagonal stripes with a black marker. i used the real red and brilliant blue markers on a very light tan cs, which toned them down a little. the chipboard letters by heidi swapp began in the raw state and were embossed in gold to match the tiny gold brads on the blue panel.
thanks for looking!

This is absolutely beautiful....did you know you were an arteest? This card is as exciting as the fireworks on the 4th of July. It is eye-catching, gorgeous, and wonderful! Love it! By the way, good job improvising with no 4th of July stamps!

Wowsers Deb!!! This is gorgeous!!! Your *free hand* is very talented. Mine's in captivity to my very untalented arm, which is conected to my shoulder, which is connected to.....well you get the point. The stopping point is the brain and it doesn't communicate well. Therefore, I cheat and use only stamps....NO freehand. ;) Aaaaannnnyyywwaayy, love the swirls, the perfect stripes, the stars, the ribbon, and those beautiful chipboard letters. Awesome!!!
