Today's FS is Markie's Mom, better known as Faith. I have always admired her work and really do think she will be dirty one of these days. Her attention to detail, dimension, and design is outstanding. And I appreciate it even more now that I cased one of her cards. Phew.....this took me a long time.......maybe I should not have done the FS challenge as my first one after a vacation week away from all stamping......anyway...
I changed the sentiment, the flower, left out a layer on the flower portion, had to create the designer label as I do not have that punch, and added the white background layer so I could have a white card base.

I love the colors here. They contrast so well. It is a very striking card...I really don't know what the words say, but I will take your word for it that it has something to do with birthdays!
This is so, so pretty, I will copy it for sure! I just tried making a *New Home* card using the Kanji's *tranquility* symbol on it too (my sister could use some peace in her life)! I'm having such a hard time executing my thoughts. Refreshing to see your symbols above though, thanks for the inspiration!

You certainly didn't lose your touch while on vac.--you did Faith proud with your CASE and ended up with a gorgeous result--I can hear your sigh of relief cuz it is obvious this took some time and planning! Kudos to you, GF!

I wondered where you were! Glad to see you back. Yeah, I don't think 'simple' is in Faith's vocabularly---ha! ha! You did a spectacular job casing her card. It is so elegant, so beautiful. I think arranging all that cording would drive me crazy!
