I made this tin as a gift. I used the Adirondack alcohol ink technique on the top. I cut a 12X12 piece of cardstock and used Modge Podge to adhere it to the tin, then painted a layer on the front of the paper. This was fun!

My friend and I did these yesterday and I think your technique with the ink is awesome!!! So much better than covering with paper!! Thanks for the inspiration!!

Oh, I just love that inked top. It looks a bit like a river bed - watery and lovely stones. And then the jewel in the flower adds to the feel - this must have been so appreciated as a gift.
