This is my card for today's inspiration challenge. This is my story:
1. I looked at the artwork before I went to bed last night and didn't look at it again. I guess what I saw was the checkerboard pattern!
2. I made this card for Sumtoy (Roseanne) who this week had her 4th hip surgery! Yikes! She is in good spirits in the hospital and beginning her recovery.
3. I met Roseanne when I was requesting cards for my neighbor Eliza who was diagnosed with breast cancer. I cannot tell you how many cards Roseanne has sent Eliza as well as donated to Eliza's fundraising efforts for breast cancer research.
4. If I don't quit over-embellishing, I might end up making 11 X 17 greeting cards! Yikes, this card is huge!
If you would like to send Roseanne a speedy recovery card...pm me for her address! Thanks!

Techniques: I used a metal dry embossing template to get the checkboard, ran versamark over it and the flowers and then embossed everything with ultra thick embossing powder which is how it ended up so shiny.
