Pretty much all of my customers are affiliated with the military in one way or another--most of us have active duty spouses. So for my stamp club this month I thought it might be nice to do a patriotic thank you card, so here it is. I tried doing the stars with bleach first on Buckaroo Blue, but to my surprise they turned out slightly pink....so I changed my mind and used white craft ink on Not Quite Navy paper. I really like the combo of NQN and Cranberry Crisp!
The "Thank You" part is stamped on an insert in the card, and then the edge of the NQN card front is torn off so you can see the sentiment. The eagle is stamped with Close to Cocoa and then lightly sponged around the edges, and I added a bit of paper piecing in opposite corners for a little more visual interest.
