Here are the first two cards that I made with my PaperTrey Ink Text Boxed set which arrived at my house yesterday. I also ordered some of the much talked about white and decided that since it is so heavy I would use it as my card base. I don't usually do cards with white backgrounds, so this was a bit of a stretch for me.
I've been dying use these dragonfly brads that I've had hidden away and thought that they went well with the leaf image. Apparently my ribbon retardedness also extends to faux ribbon. This was my first time using the actual ribbon part of my Faux Ribbon set. Up until now, I've just been using the sentiments. I may have to resort to using the stamp-a-ma-jig for the ribbon placement, which is ridiculous considering that I'm using an acrylic block and should be able to see where I'm stamping. Bad aim, I guess.

I think this card is great! I think your ribbon looks fabulous (although I too have had thoughts of using a stampamajig for clearblocks - the blocks distort what you see!) Yours is the first one I've seen using the new set and I think it's really really beautiful. I ordered the cards too, and I'm happy to hear your comments because I really like white BG, but find WW a little too flimsy or something! Thanks for sharing!
