Started out with a fall 'leaf' peeker card and ended up with a summer 'palm leaf' card. Funny how our creative juices take twists and turns all their own.
Used the lizard small stamps from Magenta for the background, stamping with Mellow Moss ink on Mellow Moss cardstock. When I think of palms I think of Aruba which I have been lucky enough to visit many times. I also think of lizards/iguanas as when lounging on the beach and near the pool in Aruba, there is usually a lizard/iguana doing the same thing nearby. They like lazy, hot, breezy days too. To give a sense of 'water' on the horizontal layer I used the scroll from Carte Postale in both Cool Caribbean and Whisper White. Not sure how much it shows up in the scan. I colored the hardware black with a sharpie and punched the side tag with my new curvy tag punch....Colored the image with colored pencils. Used a white gel pen to add some accents in the water.

It goes without saying that I love the lizard background.
