What a fun and funky card! I think I'll break out the shaving cream for some valentine's cards, too!

Squirt a layer of shaving cream into some kind of shallow dish. I use an 8" square aluminum foil pie tin that I had. I can rinse this easily and reuse it.
Now, into this layer of shaving cream, you drop 2-3 drops of two or three colors of re-inkers, then gently swirl it. If you swirl too much, it just makes the shaving cream pastel.
Next, I take a quarter sheet of cardstock (usually ultrasmooth white) and lie it down on top of the shaving cream. I push lightly on it, to try to get the whole sheet coated - at the same time, you will realize that the paper is getting wetter the longer it's in the stuff. It'll curl. You peel it up and push the shaving cream off the card. If you have a tool you don't mind getting smelly and possibly dyed with the ink, great. I use a wadded up paper towel or two. You can drop this shaving cream back into the tin, or dump it. Gently push the rest of the shaving cream off. I generally make at least 4 backgrounds at a time from the same batch before the colors start getting "muddy." Have ready some newspaper or paper towels for your backgrounds to dry on. You can place heavy books on top of them once they are dry, and that will flatten them out again.
