Okay, drum roll please............I made a simple card. Notice....no dimensionals, and very little, and I mean very little embellishments!!! Woo-Hoo! This is very unusual for me. If you have ever seen my gallery, you would see why. Whenever I attempt a simple card...I flop! Big time. I have a friend who just says I'm a *bling* girl. Thus the detailed cards. Anyway, I'm actually happy with this one. It's for the LSCbonus8 challenge to make a monochromatic card with a retiring flower. Since I have *petal prints* on the brain lately, of course I would think of that one. Wo, here is my simple card, with a sentiment of *heartfelt thanks* from Papertreyink. Oh, this is for a teacher friend who is leaving to teach at another school. Not retiring though. Hope this still qualifies. tfl and reading. lol

Very pretty...at first I thought you used the kissing technique with canvas to add texture to your petals, but I see that the texture is from the card stock you used...neat effect!
